Love this Protector by Ramblngirl "BB Newbi

I have these mattress pads on all my beds in the house and so does my mother. I love how thin it is and yet it is still waterproof. This is also a really good price. I recommend them to everyone. I do put them in the dryer but on a low setting. It seems like once you take them off the bed that undercoating is vunerable to puncture so I am pretty gentle with them once they are off the bed. My toddler has one for her bed and she is pretty rough on her big girl bed and it has held up to her abuse. We have two for our tempurpedic. I had a thicker waterproof barrier pad when I was pregnant with my first child and it was horrible. It made that plastic sound everytime you moved and it also held a ton of heat. You don't even know this one is on the bed. I felt safe with my second pregnancy that if my water broke it would protect my mattress.

Can't tell you how many things have befallen our mattress. Number one after 39 years of buying lousy mattresses and spending countless numbers of dollars on for the most part junk, we finally found a mattress we want to keep forever if possible. The accidents, from our dogs throwing up, grandkids spilling juice, and other accidents, plus too many other accidents that should remain nameless. I'm sure all of you have experienced those untimely events. Well if you are lucky enough to have found the mattress of your dreams then you want to protect it and keep it new, free from dust mites, orders, and stains. Well then let me tell you this protector works.....period. Worth every penny. Really!

incorrect product description - not 100% cotton by FL flamingo

I have not yet purchased this item but am considering it along with other mattress protectors. I just want to report that the item description states it is "100 percent natural cotton fiber". After viewing the same item on another website which stated the terry cloth was 80% cotton, 20% polyester, I called the manuracturer, Southern Textiles. They confirmed that the fabric is NOT 100% cotton. So if that matters to you, beware of the advertising. (since I had to "rate" it to leave these comments, I gave it 3 stars...neither good nor bad)

Easy to put on Mattress Protector by Celeste A. Peterson

This mattress protector is great because it is very easy to put on, adapts to our very thin mattress as well as very fat mattresses, doesn't tear at the corners, washes easily and best of all, protects from dust mites. Good product for the price. I shopped Bed, Bath and Beyond before picking this up on Amazon instead.

No warranty! by Tom

I bought this company's "water proof pad" and a new bed from Mattress Land in Spokane, Wa for my elderly father. Pad leaked like sieve, company voided the warranty because I did not get the original pad back to them in 5 DAYS after getting a replacement pad from them. Which also leaked. Slimed their way out of the warranty. Mattress Land also slimed their way out of warranty on bed that was collapsing after 3 months use.Bad deal all around

I bought this mattress protector 3 years ago when I purchased a 4" memory foam mattress topper for my King size bed. Most protectors will not fit over such a deep bed. This protector is AMAZINGLY stretchy and, after a lot of tugging, manages to fit perfectly. It also works well with memory foam, as it provides a natural surface that prevents body heat (and thereby sweat) from building up as it would if one slept with only a sheet on the memory foam. I have kids and pets and have never had a problem with it being waterproof or with washing it. The manufacturer does not recommend use of bleach or high heat for drying, both of which I regularly do and have had no problems. Even on high heat, it does take a long time to dry, which is why I am buying a second one today. Aside from that, it's worth the money and will save you plenty of hassle.

PROS: waterproof, fits deep mattresses, natural fabric

CONS: a little hard to get on if you have a really deep mattress, takes a long time to dry

Great protector and great price by Erin C.

We just bought a new bed and I wanted to be sure that this one was protected from spills and any accidents of any kind. Of course, the second month we had the bed my dog threw up on the bed. The protector saved me! This thing is great. I might order a second one to put on while the other one is being washed.
